Iskra Shipyard continues their tradition of MTRZ and NCP – Repair of warships is an important business segment

On Monday 3 June, the recruits of the 21st generation of the Ban Josip Jelačić military post within the Croatian Military Academy dr. Franjo Tuđman visited Iskra Shipyard, a former NCP shipyard in Šibenik. An important part of repair and service of the Croatian navy and Croatian coastguard’s ships is performed there. The shipyard’s employees and head of HRM logistics, captain of the warship Željko Jakus, informed the members of the military school about the maintaining procedures and techniques for warships and ship’s armament.

At this occasion, brigadier Mije Kožić, commander of the military academy, awarded Iskra Shipyard with a special recognition.
